About Metroplex Live

Metroplex Live is an independent guide to live events across Dallas–Fort Worth: concerts, comedy, theater, jazz, DJ nights and free shows, from neighborhood bars to arenas.

Where listings come from

We collect listings every day from venue calendars, venue-published event data and ticketing feeds. Each show page names its source and when we last checked it.

How we keep it accurate

• No made-up details. If a source doesn’t give a showtime, price or age policy, the page says TBA. We never fill in a “typical” time or price.
• Automatic checks. We catch times that aren’t times, doors listed after the show starts, garbled symbols and junk text, and fix or flag them before they’re published.
• Placeholder detection. If a feed lists the same time, price and age on a large share of unrelated shows, we treat those values as placeholders and remove them.
• Duplicates are merged. When several sources list the same show, we combine them into one page.

Corrections

Every show page has a “Report a correction” link, or email listings@metroplexlive.com.
